The Credentialing Supervisor oversees the credentialing process and assigned staff to ensure compliance with delegated credentialing accreditation and regulatory agency standards. The Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of Credentialing in Network Operations Department and ensures processes meet regulation requirements. The Credentialing Supervisor facilitates communication with clinics, physicians, payors, medical directors and other customers. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience with focus in credentialing
  • 5+ years of managed care experience, 1-year supervisory experience
  • High degree of knowledge in NCQA, TDI and AAAHC credentialing standards.
  • Proficient computer experience, i.e. Microsoft Word /Excel
  • Proven excellent written, verbal, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications – CPCS, CPMSM
  • College Degree
  • Managed Care/Hospital Credentialing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access and/or credentialing software programs
