This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Supervisor, Molding & Tooling Engineering , is primarily responsible for leading daily engineering operations in mold tooling and injection molding at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX . You will provide technical guidance, monitor team performance, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency. Specifics include: Oversee day-to-day engineering operations related to mold tooling and injection molding, ensuring smooth execution of production support and process improvements. Provide technical guidance, monitor team performance, and implement corrective actions to optimize manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering challenges, support quality control measures, and ensure timely project execution. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Associates +16yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
