Job Overview:Position: Supervisor, Medical PracticeDepartment: Surgical Oncology Location: St. Petersburg, Florida Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week The Medical Practice Supervisor has operational supervisory responsibility of an Orlando Health Physician Group Practice site. The Supervisor will improve staff productivity and operational efficiency by providing consistent, on-site leadership and real-time decision-making. This dedicated oversight will proactively manage daily workflows, reducing delays, minimizing errors, and ensuring appropriate staffing coverage across all clinic areas, allowing teams to function at the top of their roles and maintaining continuity of care across specialties. In addition, this role will directly support staff engagement and retention by providing coaching, training reinforcement, and problem resolution, helping team members feel supported and aligned with expectations. The Supervisor will also play a key role in customer service and service recovery. By addressing patient concerns in real time and reinforcing service standards, this role helps protect patient satisfaction and the Cancer Institute’s reputation.
