About The Position
Supervise and coordinate the mechanic team throughout the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of high speed, PLC controlled automatic packaging equipment. Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are required to effectively lead the repair and maintenance teams supporting all automated packaging and sensing equipment. This is a lead by example position and daily activities will include hands-on expertise as well as team leadership and supervision to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all automatic packaging equipment systems. Maintains a cGMP production environment and standards throughout the production area(s) through leadership example setting. Adheres to all workplace environmental, health and safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures while actively promoting and enforcing adherence. This is a customer-facing role and customer interaction will be a part of daily activities.
