The first-ever facility of its kind, combining research and manufacturing in a single location, the Medicine Foundry will allow Lilly to further develop innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and increase capacity for clinical trial medicines, while also reducing costs and environmental impact. The Supervisor provides direct supervision to Operations at the Lilly Medicine Foundry. Responsible for leading teams of Operators and carrying out tasks of inbound and outbound with a focus on weigh & dispense and sampling activities within the Foundry. This will also support inventory management and material flow.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma along with relevant experience in a biopharmaceutical or medical device environment. industry and/or Logistics/Supply Chain qualifications
  • Proficient in English
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sampling and dispensing activities within a GMP environment highly preferred.
  • Experience with computer systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
  • Familiarity with Operational Excellence tools and techniques.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Technical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Routine Operations involved in a Start-Up as well as daily Operations management.
  • Organize, participate in, and/or lead routine Quality and EH&S audits/inspections of the facility with operators and support personnel.
  • Interviewing, and people management
  • Compliant and safety culture
  • Housekeeping Standards
  • Facilitate and organize 1:1 with Team and run Team Meetings
  • Work with other operations and support resources to assure all activities have adequate operator coverage to ensure production targets or milestones are met.
  • Follow and ensure adherence with vacation/absence/overtime policies.
  • Conduct thorough information pass downs to ensure the appropriate personnel are aware of all issues and progress made on tasks.
