About The Position

The Supervisor Material/Planning for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing material movement throughout the manufacturing floor. This position reports to the Material/Planning Manager and is part of the Operations team located in the United States and will be an on-site role in Miami Florida. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership and uphold all corporate and site/department-specific physical and financial inventory targets while ensuring material availability in support of site production goals. You will direct resolution of complex problems across sub-functions and departmental lines and manage a team of material handlers that are responsible for scanning when material is needed, binning material, picking material as well as delivering material to the operators.

Requirements

• High school degree with 8+ years of manufacturing experience, bachelor's degree with 5+ years manufacturing experience, or master's degree with 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle or similar MRP software navigation within the procurement and material management modules.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, excel, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
