About The Position

The Material Planner/Inventory Specialist at Power Partners LLC is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials from order placement to the completion of units, supporting Manufacturing and Operations. This role oversees the material warehouse and personnel, ensuring that production departments experience no interruptions in material flow and that inventory management is accurate and efficient.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or pursuing a four-year degree, preferably in Engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrates personal accountability and holds the team accountable.
  • Fair, consistent, and respectful in all situations.
  • Achieves credibility at all levels through technical competence and solid communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent situational awareness and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in designing and mentoring 5S standards and visual systems.
  • Understanding of the processes and operations of the entire plant, including customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Material Coordinator Team Lead, Material Coordinators, and Warehouse Personnel to ensure uninterrupted material flow to production lines.
  • Perform regular cycle counts of raw inventory and reconcile them in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with Operations Material Handler Team Leads for regular cycle counts of WIP and ensure accurate reconciliation in the ERP system.
  • Maintain clearly marked and well-operating material storage areas.
  • Ensure accurate receipt and proper location of goods in the warehouse.
  • Generate and store all required written/electronic records properly.
  • Collaborate with other Material Planners to support Supply Chain activities.
  • Lead Lean Initiatives, 5S, and other value creation efforts.
