Requirements

• Associates or BA/BS Degree.
• Strong supervisory management skills.
• A technical background related to vacuum deposition or equivalent experience working in a vacuum coating area.
• Ability to work in a Class 10 cleanroom environment, requiring wearing of clean room gown, hood, booties, gloves, and safety glasses.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers, technicians, and other departments.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AS-9500 quality standard.
• Experience in an ISO quality environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Production personnel, equipment, and materials of the Performance Products Group.
• Ensure safety, high productivity, high quality and yields, continuous improvement, and product delivery commitments.
• Hire and train subordinates using the Learning System.
• Monitor processes and report and investigate safety issues, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.
• Schedule resources and prioritize workflow through the manufacturing area.
• Interact with other departments to assure the safe production and shipment of quality products while meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
