About The Position

Astrana Health is seeking a Manager, Network Strategy & Provider Relations to support provider network growth, manage provider relationships, and execute network development strategies across assigned markets. This role combines strategic network development with hands-on provider engagement and contracting support. This is an ideal role for a candidate who is analytical, relationship-driven, and comfortable working across teams to build and maintain high-performing provider networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required: Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience: provider relations, network strategy or network development, managed care, MSO/IPA operations, provider contracting
  • Experience working with provider networks, managed care, or healthcare operations
  • Strong understanding of provider network development or provider relations
  • Experience supporting provider contracting or provider onboarding processes
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted provider relationships
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel regularly within assigned service areas

Responsibilities

  • Support development and expansion of provider networks to align with Astrana’s value-based care model and network adequacy requirements
  • Analyze markets, provider coverage, and network performance to identify growth opportunities and strategic priorities
  • Produce and monitor regular reporting to track network adequacy, provider performance, and network development progress
  • Develop and execute network strategies focused on provider growth, retention, and market expansion
  • Build strong relationships with providers through regular site visits, onboarding, and ongoing education
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for providers, resolving issues and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely support
  • Support recruitment, contracting, and implementation of new providers and vendor partners
  • Assist with negotiation and maintenance of provider agreements in coordination with health plans, legal, and contracting teams
  • Lead and support cross-functional initiatives, including workflow development, process improvement, and project execution
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reporting on provider engagement, training, and growth opportunities
