Job SummaryJob Responsibilities Daily Inspections: Conduct comprehensive daily walkthroughs of buildings and grounds (interior and exterior) to identify and address repair needs or cleanliness issues. General Repairs: Perform skilled maintenance including apartment turnovers, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment testing. HVAC Maintenance: Perform regular service and cleaning of HVAC units; ensure apartment and common area filters are inspected and replaced on schedule. Curb Appeal: Maintain flowerbeds, bushes, and lawns; ensure walkways and drives are clear of debris, weeds, and obstructions. Seasonal Care: Manage snow removal and de-icing operations; maintain all equipment necessary for lawn care and winter weather response. Operations & Administration Work Orders: Maintain accurate, timely records of time and materials for all work orders. Inventory Management: Maintain an organized maintenance shop and a running log of all parts, equipment, and supplies. Contractor Oversight: Assist the Maintenance Department in escorting and overseeing the work of outside contractors. Compliance & Safety: Respond immediately to emergencies and safety/security issues; maintain a charged CRSS cell phone for 24/7 emergency response availability. Quality Improvement: Complete a bi-annual quality project and present findings to the Quality Committee annually. Leadership: Ensure all site staff adhere to CRSS Human Resources policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in skilled trades (plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry).
