Under direction of the Plant Manager, perform and oversee Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annual preventative maintenance activities that may include, repairing equipment, ordering replacement parts, FDA/ regulatory updates, operating a forklift, ensuring maintenance area is clean and organized, ability to manage multiple projects, leading/ directing a small team of direct reports on required daily and weekly activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
  • Ability to multitask and manage a small team of maintenance technicians
  • Ability to apply knowledge from diagrams, manuals, and blueprints to troubleshoot and resolve equipment outages
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety
  • Good documentation practices
  • Moderate understanding of electrical wiring and electronic components
  • Moderate working knowledge of plumbing, including PVC pipe and fittings
  • Moderate understanding of pneumatic tools and machines
  • Moderate working knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Moderate working knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Can-do attitude with a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and positive team mindset
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Commitment to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all warehouse staff
  • Strictly comply with Standard Operating Procedures and GMP practices and guidelines
  • Communicate with other area supervisors regarding potential problems or process improvements
  • Work with service vendors to ensure maintenance repairs are completed in a timely manner
  • Provide daily and weekly reporting to senior leadership
  • Deliver weekly staff meeting updates
  • Coordinate maintenance staffing for weekend coverage
  • Perform and oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance checks
