About The Position

You’ll be responsible for the management of the facility maintenance department in compliance with government and management directives, regulations and laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and two (2) years related experience or Six (6) years experience in building, grounds, equipment maintenance, and HVAC; one (1) of which should be supervisory.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance and repair of facility locks and doors, electronics and maintain an effective work order system and equipment as needed.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery services. Prepare related reports.
• Maintain effective and timely work order and preventive maintenance systems, and document work orders. Monitor daily productivity of staff members to reduce inefficiencies and minimize task completion.
• Follow all safety regulations to include the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for self as well as offenders assigned to the maintenance department.
• Perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
