This Supervisor, Maintenance Tech role is responsible for the installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical processes and equipment used in the manufacture of mattresses, mattress components, and similar bedding products. The position involves managing maintenance staff, contractors, and OEM’s, and collaborating with the Plant Director and Department Supervisors to ensure the accomplishment of the site’s production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility for the installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical processes used in the manufacture of mattresses, mattress components, and similar bedding products.
  • Manage and maximize the output of plant equipment used in production, functional longevity, and aesthetic of the products.
  • Plan, delegate, and perform work that requires a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principles, written specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and the principles of operation and application for electronic equipment.
  • Directly manage all maintenance staff, contractors, OEM’s to ensure safety, timely production, and completion of their projects.
  • Collaborate with Plant Director and Department Supervisors to ensure successful accomplishment of the site’s production needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
