About The Position

The primary responsibilities of the role are to manage a team of agents, prioritize the business needs of the agency, be and advocate for both the agents and the customers. You will manage a team of licensed insurance agents within Tesla Insurance at the Tucson, Arizona location. The purpose of the supervisor position is to ensure your team of agents is performing their job as outlined in their job description. This impacts Tesla’s mission by growing the Insurance portion of Tesla while also contributing to more Tesla Vehicles being delivered.

Requirements

In depth knowledge of insurance policies, processes, and procedures

Prior experience supervising or managing others

De-escalate cuatomet issues and concerns

Responsibilities

Manage your team daily including monitoring breaks, lunches, and time spent on the phones
Conduct regular 1 on 1 meetings with your agents to review performance
Submit coaching and write ups through inside Tesla
Involved in all hiring and termination decisions in accordance with HR
Assist agents with complex situations while they are on the phone with customers
Handle escalated phone calls from customers. This includes safety score disputes, price increases, billing issues, etc.
Collaborate with other Supervisors and Agency Manager to improve policies and procedures throughout the agency
