About The Position

The Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, located in Downtown Raleigh, nestled in the entertainment district, is actively looking for our next exceptional Supervisor Laundry. The Laundry Attendant is part of the hotel's heart and is vital to our commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction. Responsible for the complete upkeep and smooth functioning of the laundry department, the Laundry Attendant works closely with housekeeping to ensure proper inventory levels are supplied to the floors in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Professional demeanor and ability to treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect.
• Ability to adhere to hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls and safety hazards.
• Capability to lift heavy objects and use chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete upkeep and smooth functioning of the laundry department.
• Work closely with housekeeping to ensure proper inventory levels are supplied to the floors.
• Maintain a positive guest and associate experience by adhering to hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance.
• Adapt to changes in work area and hotel procedures, and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills or improve existing ones.
• Solve routine problems that occur on the job and seek help when unsure about tasks.
