About The Position

We are seeking a Supervisor for our Laboratory Technical Operations in the Microbiology department at our Hospitals and Clinics. This full-time position will be based in Macon, GA, and will involve overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing a team of laboratory technicians. The Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining the quality of laboratory services and will be responsible for implementing best practices in microbiological testing and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological testing procedures and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent.
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations in the Microbiology department.
