About The Position

In this role you will manage all inventory and quality functions. You will oversee the inventory control team members, conducting onboarding, training, performance feedback, and coaching. Your responsibilities will include performing inventory audits and maintaining quality assurance standards to meet evolving industry quality requirements. You will be responsible for inventory accuracy goal attainment and will possess overall accountability for warehouse inventory and quality reports. Additionally, you will create and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional team members and related staff groups, resolve problems and conflicts directly with supervisors and peers, and consult with managers, supervisors, and peers in providing solutions that directly impact company commitments to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and service. You will serve as a liaison with internal and external parties on matters relating to inventory and quality, commit to operate as an impetus for change, maximize the performance of the site warehouse management system, and recognize/develop opportunities for employee growth. Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices is essential, as is demonstrating a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals and objectives. You will also be committed to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient, and accurate use of the process and communicating well with leadership, team members, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years' experience in comprehensive supply chain management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in management of inventory within distribution logistics, preferably in a 24x7x365 environment.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to partner and communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, warehouse management systems, and database systems.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage priorities based on business requirements.

  • Experience in BlueYonder, Oracle, and IMI systems.
