The Supervisor, Interior Design leads the Customer Design by managing a specialized team responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience throughout the aircraft configuration journey-from the sales campaign through the configuration of interior materials and exterior paint schemes, all the way to aircraft delivery. This role ensures that all customer selections are accurately captured in configuration documents and systems that flow into engineering, configuration, programs, and production. The Supervisor of Interior Design builds strong connections and leverages influence with Contracts, Delivery, Programs, Sales, Sales Engineering, Product Strategy and Procurement to shape high-level decisions, ensuring customer experience and design requirements remain central to strategic outcomes. Has a key role integrating with Industrial Design Supervisor to ensure customer feedback and critical configuration information become relevant inputs for future developments. While not directly responsible for new product development, the supervisor aligns requirements and documentation to support innovation and process improvements. Internally, this role is accountable for team readiness, capability tracking, task domain organization (customer-facing, back-office support, graphics, and paint scheme specialists), performance evaluation, career path clarity, and compliance with new processes and standards. Key performance indicators: Post-Delivery Agreement (PDA) costs remain near zero, and WOW scores consistently approach 5.
