About The Position
The Supervisor Insurance Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the Insurance Specialists who support surgical schedulers and centralized revenue cycle/access management functions for the Surgical Services Institute. This position is responsible for ensuring that all patients are screened and financially cleared for hospital and ambulatory surgeries/visits prior to their service date. The supervisor coordinates daily staff activities, trains new employees, maintains workflows, conducts quality assurance audits, and performs all duties of Insurance Specialists.
