About The Position

The Injection Molding Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, supporting and developing employees through counseling and motivation, and managing employee schedules, sick/vacation time, and job assignments. This role involves recognizing and correcting production inefficiencies, ensuring schedule attainment for On Time Delivery, and consistently maintaining mold protection settings at the lowest pressure while running productions. The supervisor must also ensure the mold parting line is free of debris, support IQMS activities and ISO standards, and actively seek system/process improvements. The position requires demonstrating good communication skills to all levels of employees and promptly recognizing, reporting, and correcting any safety issues. As a leader, manager, and accountable individual, the supervisor oversees all supervisory activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including the overall supervision, coordination, performance, and evaluation of molding employees. Responsibilities also encompass meeting company goals and metrics, participating in interviewing, hiring, and training employees, as well as planning, assigning, directing work, and managing employee rewards and discipline.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years experience of processing and troubleshooting skills.
  • Possesses working knowledge and understanding of molding operations.
  • Leader who is able to make decisions when appropriate.
  • Experienced in good manufacturing practices, quality initiatives and programs.
  • Ability to encourage and build a team oriented work environment.
  • Posses Injection Molding processing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Support and development of employees including counseling and motivation.

  • Ensure that mold protection settings are consistently at the lowest pressure setting while running productions.
  • Ensure that the mold parting line is maintained and free of debris at all times by employees.
  • Support IQMS activities.
  • Support ISO standards.
  • Actively seek system/process improvements.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills to all levels of employees.
  • Recognize, report, and correct any safety issues.
  • Responsible for the supervisory activities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, performance and evaluation of Wright molding employees.
  • Responsibilities include meeting company goals and metrics, participating in interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees.
