About The Position

The Fabrication Supervisor leads daily shop operations and supervises employees engaged in heavy steel fabrication and assembly. This role ensures production schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in fabrication or heavy manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
• Solid problem-solving and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication of heavy steel assemblies
• Ensure production schedules are met
• Assign work based on skill level and production needs
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders
• Monitor workflow and adjust assignments as needed
• Maintain accurate time, labor, and production records
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements
• Assist in employee training and development
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments
• Report equipment issues per company procedures
