About The Position

Expectations: Supervises and directs all work activities of Hospitality Services staff which may include one or more of the following departments: Patient Transportation , Environmental, and Linen Departments. Performs routine quality control inspections and ensures quality standards are met. Provides on-going training and performance assessment of employees to maintain and improve employee competencies. Creates an atmosphere of open, positive communication throughout the department. This position requires flexibility of hours. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum Five (5) years experience in the housekeeping or related janitorial and/or Dispatch Call Center experience preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in supervising a group of twelve to fifteen employees in an acute care or hospital background.
  • Strong oral and writing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office or equivalent preferred.
  • Above average communication skills, ability to work in a stressful environment, high level of professionalism and integrity with the ability to act in a supervisory capacity.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years experience in the housekeeping or related janitorial and/or Dispatch Call Center experience
