About The Position

Provide supervision to case managers, review and approve case notes and forms.

Requirements

• Graduate degree from an accredited School of Social Work or other Behavioral Mental Health program and licensed by the State of FL (LCSW, LMHC or LMFT).
• A valid Florida driver’s license is required, and the case manager must be older than 25 years of age to operate a motor vehicle.
• Skills important for this position include problem solving, analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills, patience, flexibility, and ability to function independently.
• It also requires an understanding of and compatibility with Jewish values and traditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for case managers regarding their clients.
• Review and approve case notes and all clients’ records completed by supervisees.
• Monitor work performance and attendance.
• Review and approve supervisee’s timesheets and expense reports.
• Respond to clients’ needs when supervisors are off.
• Train new employees.
• Supervise projects related to the Holocaust Department (such as Volunteer Dental Program, Socialization projects, and Volunteer programs).
• Ensure client confidentiality and services are provided in accordance with social work values and code of ethics and are within the grant guidelines.
• Liaison with Marketing department to implement Broward community outreach to raise awareness of Survivor’s needs; develop collateral materials; ensure social media outreach.
• Complete intakes for the new clients enrolled into the program.
• Oversee clients’ support and customer service.
• Other tasks that might be assigned by the program director.
• Has access to client case records
