Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver's license.
  • High school diploma or completion of a GED.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Familiar with and able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals.
  • Have at least one year automotive/ground service equipment related experience or training.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Supervisor/management experience.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and set a positive work atmosphere for your department.
  • Prioritize, oversee, and assign duties to mechanics and part technicians.
  • Prioritize workload at the local and regional levels.
  • Review open work orders and ensure completion.
  • Manage and prioritize online maintenance requests.
  • Monitor work performed in the shop for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Assist mechanics as needed.
  • Open work orders in fleet as needed.
  • Review outstanding work orders in the region.
  • Attend local hub/ramp meetings.
  • Ensure Safety/Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance.
