Full-Time, General Services (Maintenance) Supervisor Water Country USA What you get to do: The General Services Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing and performing the work of the Maintenance operation team at Water Country USA, including supervision, and controlling costs for an operating budget.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong human relations, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • 3 years supervisory/management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to draft and follow SOPs for various maintenance functions of rides and facilities and to perform administrative duties required to support area functions
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and influence skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair water pumps and motors
  • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing and piping systems
  • Experience using hand, air, and power tools
  • General knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems
  • Experience with general maintenance and carpentry
  • Ability to supervise and perform slide and pool maintenance and cleanliness
  • Must be familiar with or have the ability to become familiar with all codes regarding Life Safety, ASTM, NEC and local building codes

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred
  • AIMS and NAARSO certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, development and evaluate performance management of the Maintenance team and adherence to SEA Standards and Best Practices
  • Coordinates and conducts facility and rides inspections, audits, permits and general maintenance in all park areas as required.
  • Coordinates the pool quality program, ensuring proper filtration and chemical dosing in compliance with NSPF and SEA standards.
  • Assist with the coordination of facility maintenance performed by outside contractors.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as required
