Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience in Operations, OR;
• Associate's Degree and 4 years of experience in Operations, OR;
• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Operations.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Field.
• Operations experience in Natural Gas or Utility industry.
• Analytical & problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, construction, maintenance, repair, and/or operation of gas systems; coordinates construction and maintenance activities with other areas.
• Supervises a group of technical crews in daily activities; ensures compliance with Operator Qualification, and Codes & Standards requirements.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, dispatches and controls work resources.
• Utilizes Lean Six Sigma elements or other continuous improvement tools to plan, execute and follow through on operations and improvements.
• Ensures the consistent application of applicable collective bargaining agreements.
• Administers safety programs and ensures safety standards are complied with within all work activities.
• Ensures continuous station productivity improvements through increased quality field time with crews; ensures that work crew productivity levels are maintained.
• Performs or ensures the accomplishment of core supervisory/management functions for a given group(s) within a business unit: planning, organizing, directing the performance of ongoing activities and/or special/ad hoc assignments, staffing, coordinating, reporting & budgeting.
