Supervises and leads department functions, including serving and delivering meals, menu planning, food preparation, sanitation, and appropriate record keeping.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in a Hospital, major Food Service establishment, catering service or in storeroom/purchasing OR 1 year of leadership experience in healthcare food service.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification by Dietary Manager's Association
  • Previous experience in health care.
  • One (1) year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, major food service establishment or catering service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cafeteria operations
  • Ability to maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Ability to supervise and direct food service operations and personnel.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer applications.
