Responsibilities Within the nursing center, the Dining Services Supervisor assists in providing technical guidance and administrative direction over food planning, menu, and serving of meals, food quality and food satisfaction. Adheres to all sanitary and food safety regulations governing handling and serving of food. Ensures that meals are prepared and served on schedule and in accordance with national standards, company policy and budget allowances. Investigates trends and developments in dietary, practices and techniques, and evaluates their adaptability to dietary programs. Creates, revises, and adapts work techniques and methods for more efficient operation of unit and for training employees. Orients, trains, develops, and evaluates staff to maintain an elevated level of performance.

Requirements

  • Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the nursing center
