The Supervisor-Food Services position is responsible for evaluating, mentoring, and counseling/coaching patient services employees according to departmental policy. This role involves monitoring employee job performance and working with staff to improve performance and behavior. The supervisor provides leadership and guidance, assisting staff in achieving personal and departmental goals. Additionally, the supervisor ensures proper staffing is scheduled and available to perform daily activities in areas of responsibility. They coordinate and oversee that daily and weekly activities/tasks are performed by staff, update and communicate job-flow changes, ensure standardized recipes are followed, direct and assist in food preparation, perform quality control checks consistently, and ensure appropriate display of cafeteria foods while ensuring cashiers follow correct procedures.
