About The Position

This position is responsible for providing leadership for the FANS department (clinical and non-clinical) and maintains staff oversight including evaluations, hiring process, disciplinary and scheduling. Leads departmental process improvement initiatives. Ensures effective communication within Inspira and with external customers. Responsible for department quality and productivity, as well as, oversees patient services program.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Serv Safe Certified or must obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.)
  • Frequent, prolonged standing/walking
  • Subject to burns & cuts
  • Exposed to hot & humid work environment
  • Exposed to hazards of steam & heat
  • Exposed to heat, wetness, odors in kitchen and/or patient areas
  • Exposed to varying degrees of kitchen elements.
  • Occasionally exposed to, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Associates are required to deliver trays to patient rooms, which at times might include isolation rooms where additional safety precautions are required.
