About The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor to join our team! As the Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising diet office and patient food service personnel. What you will do in this role: You will be responsible for supervising all patient food service activities, including patient tray line, diet office, floor stock, and reprocessing operations. You will maintain and improve standards of food service. You will assist in maintaining and improving patient food service procedures. You will ensure that department areas, equipment and machinery are set-up to work at appropriate levels. You will evaluate patient menu selections and makes adjustments with diet order guidelines and patient preferences. You will inspect trays for 100% accuracy on tray line.

Requirements

  • Vocational or Technical education required.
  • Previous supervisory Food Service experience, preferably 2 years food service experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
  • Food safety knowledge required.
  • Florida Food Handlers Card required.
  • Computer skills necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to mule-task, especially during peak times.
