About The Position
As a Fleet Manager at XPO, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of road flex teams (RFTs) and ensuring efficient transportation services. Your role will involve setting work schedules, monitoring hours of service, and coordinating coverage plans for absences. You will act as a point of contact for RFTs, providing dispatch information and guidance on route conditions. Additionally, you will communicate with service center leadership to ensure timely dispatch and arrival of loads, prepare reports for management, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety requirements. Building relationships with RFTs to foster an inclusive culture and addressing any issues with management or HR will also be key aspects of your role.
