Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field
• Three to five years of fitness or wellness experience
• Accredited certification in personal training (ACE, ACSM, AFA, AFAA, SFA or NASM)
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement wellness programs to include various levels of resident capabilities and interests and ensuring that all dimensions of wellness are incorporated.
• Provide personal training services to residents.
• Lead group land and aquatic fitness classes, as assigned.
• Ensure resident satisfaction levels are achieved through quality and hospitality services and initiatives.
• Conduct wellness assessments of residents.
• Document resident attendance, analyze and measure fitness program success levels.
• Assist in developing policies.
• Promote fitness center, fitness programs and special events via resident newsletter and other communication sources.
