About The Position

Manages and implements Fitness for Duty programs and services to Exelon Business Units. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Supervise FFD administrators, conduct technical research and develop policies and procedures that support program efficacies while minimizing liability to the company. Ensures effectiveness and impact of the program and its consistency.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree and 4 years of related experience.
  • In lieu of degree 6-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with state laws, federal regulations, drug and alcohol program management, compliance, training in laboratory practice, pharmacology, and toxicology.
  • Ability to supervise, direct, and work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in Fitness for Duty Program Management, Healthcare or Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct FFD Administrators to manage and facilitate on-site testing.
  • Plan resource coverage and execute work activities to achieve federal and company targets.
  • Plans and directs Fitness for Duty program services to ensure compliance with federal regulations and Exelon or Business Unit policy.
  • Work with Legal, Human Resource, and Labor Relations groups to ensure program consistency and to minimize liability exposure on drug and alcohol testing-related employment actions.
  • Provides regulatory, policy and procedural guidance and direction to Business Unit management, Medical Review Officer, Employee Assistance Program, employees and contractors.
  • Measure and evaluates critical data to determine effectiveness of program implementation.
  • Communicate results to senior management, as necessary.
  • Conduct training seminars and make presentations on substance abuse programs, as required.
