About The Position

The Facility Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of general maintenance mechanics and trades people on assigned shift relative to corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance projects. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred.
  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in commercial/industry facilities maintenance preferred.
  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a casino environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Must be well-organized with the ability to prioritize in response to changing circumstances and function in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid State of Florida trade license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, assign jobs, and ensure timely completion of projects by maintenance mechanics
  • Perform routine field inspections on-site and at off-site locations
  • Prepare technical reports and maintains logbooks as required
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of applicable fire, health, safety, and environmental standards as well as relevant state, local, and national codes
  • React in a timely manner to emergency situations
  • Coordinate maintenance and modification projects with appropriate department to ensure minimal guest interruption
  • Instruct and train others as appropriate
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
