The Service Planning & Design leadership job family is responsible for customer advocacy, project coordination, and delivery for new business electric and gas customer projects, designs, cost estimates, contracts, accounts receivable, dependency management, clerical services, and other related services. Incumbents are responsible for strategic engagement and ongoing management of new business relationships with large builders and developers, cities and counties, and other active strategic customers in PG&E’s service territory. Responsibilities include planning for and addressing emerging legislation and trends in new business gas and electric service; partnering with internal stakeholders from other lines of business to successfully enable new business gas and electric load to support critical economic vitality and housing growth requirements; and providing support during major emergencies. This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to report to their assigned office location at least ONE day per week. The remaining days may be worked remotely, depending on business needs. The headquarters location is the San Carlos Service Center. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. A reasonable salary range is:Bay Area Minimum: $128,000Bay Area Mid-Point: $173,000Bay Area Maximum: $218,000
