About The Position

This position supervises day-to-day duties of an operational unit, ensuring completion of daily activities, directing and supporting the team's work efforts, maximizing productivity, and achieving short-term goals. The role involves improving the team environment, planning, evaluating, and guiding the behaviors of direct reports, which include a combination of hourly and exempt staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in recreation, education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience in a structured educational setting.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to become First Aid, CPR, Universal Precautions, and Medication Certified.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care Guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Reliable transportation for picking up and delivering supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Train, supervise, and coach staff to create an efficient working environment.
  • Promote cooperative relationships with school personnel.
  • Implement Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care Guidelines.
  • Attend required meetings and participate in professional development.
