Supervisor Environmental Services
About The Position
The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of Environmental Services (EVS) personnel, and for the operation and coordination of department functions. This role actively collaborates with leadership as it relates to recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance management of the EVS Mission Partners. In addition to oversight of personnel, this position is responsible for effectively complying with regulatory standards, financial analysis of department operation and collaboration with leadership team members to support the department in its daily function.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required, which must be obtained within two (2) years of start date into the position; employees hired prior to October 1, 2025 are exempt from this requirement
- 2 years' experience in healthcare environmental services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior supervisory experience
- Trainer-Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Technician (T-CHEST) certification
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Technician (CHEST) certification
- Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification
