About The Position

The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of task assignments and completions by the EVS employees, in the day-to-day operations of clinical and non-clinical spaces. This position encompasses administrative communication, staff coordination, training and coaching, assignment inspections, and actively promoting service excellence.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent 1-3 years of combined education and experience.
• Some years of supervisory experience.
• High School Graduate or GED Certificate.
• Experience in hospital or hotel housekeeping operations preferred.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements preferred.
• General knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Outlook software programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee task assignments and completions by EVS employees.
• Manage day-to-day operations of clinical and non-clinical spaces.
• Conduct administrative communication and staff coordination.
• Provide training and coaching to staff.
• Perform assignment inspections.
• Promote service excellence actively.
