The position is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the department, which includes scheduling of staff, disciplinary action, safety, communication, project/workflow management, and performance of staff duties as required. The role also involves assisting in the recruitment, development, retention, and evaluation of staff. Additionally, the position facilitates problem-solving related to patient, visitor, staff, or employee complaints and provides detailed hospital documentation in conjunction with Human Resources, Health Office, and Risk Management records, as well as staff-related events. The role applies basic industry-standard cleaning principles.
