About The Position

The Supervisor of Environmental Services 1st Shift at Loyola University Medical Center performs and supervises housekeeping related activities throughout the various areas of the Loyola Medicine facility. Available to work the AM or PM shift as needed. Coordinates the training and daily activities of the EVS Department. The Supervisor of Environmental Services participates in and administers performance evaluations for all direct report staff and participates in and makes recommendations for selection of applicants during the recruitment process. They assist with scheduling of staffing and coaching/retraining opportunities. May administer counseling/disciplinary action as warranted.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in housekeeping in a hospital, hospitality, or related industry.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping related activities throughout the Loyola Medicine facility.
