About The Position

The University of New Mexico-Valencia campus is accepting applications for the position of Supervisor, Student Success for the Early, Non-Academic, Revitalize, Outreach, Learning, and Learning support (ENROLL) Program. This is a grant-funded position that ends 12/31/2027. The Supervisor, ENROLL Student Success Program will implement work scope, provide project planning, budgeting, administration, and develop related operational policies and procedures. This position will report to the Director of Enrollment Management and Student Success, with a direct line to the Undergraduate Research Coordinator, to monitor and assess program progress and educate the college, K-12, and industry community about the ENROLL Program. Duties include: Providing consultation, guidance, and advisement to students of a specific targeted and/or underrepresented population; connecting students to and/or providing direct resources and services to support individual student success. Supervising personnel which typically includes recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution. Coordinating and scheduling outreach and retention activities, including the work of lower-level specialists, providing direction and guidance, and resolving operational and administrative problems. Participating in the development, design, and planning of student programs and initiatives designed to attract, retain, and serve students within the specific population of interest. Assisting with the planning and development of strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the program; may prepare, review and/or submit contract and/or grant proposals and participate in monitoring activities for compliance to contract/grant specifications. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical vocational programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit High School/College courses to Valencia and Socorro Counties. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

  • Grant administration, writing, and reporting
