About The Position

We're looking for a Supervisor-Electrical Assembly to supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to, and review of the work accomplished by assigned staff in the Electrical Assembly Department. The processes include subassemblies, both mechanical and electrical in nature. Some areas are Electrostatic Discharge sensitive due to electronic components. The department practices Toyota Production Systems assembly methods, so lean manufacturing experience is a plus for the successful candidate.

Requirements

  • An Associate's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in a supervisory/management role is preferred
  • Two or more years of employee work experience in the specified discipline is required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies
  • Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and feedback
  • Manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee development
  • Address and resolve any operational issues that arise
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain and manage employee timecards accurately
  • Investigate employee complaints and implement solutions
  • Develop and manage production schedules
  • Track daily production metrics and report on performance
  • Administer corrective actions as needed to address performance issues
  • Foster a positive work environment
  • Adapt to changing priorities and demands
