Working the weekends is required. Start time is 7am. This position is responsible for providing leadership, hiring, coaching and training of Merchandisers. This position is responsible for covering multiple outlets within a designated district within a retail sales area. The District Supervisor will report directly to the District Manager. Success in this role requires collaboration between direct reports, customers and all cross functional partners within the Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages framework. The District Supervisor will be responsible for attending meetings and market visits with key decision makers in various chains to foster strong relationships within the marketplace. Responsibilities Be committed to a safety culture by following established health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in consumer products required.
  • Requires experience managing people/budgets.
  • 1+ years supervising distribution/delivery staff.
  • Computer and database application skills.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper staffing levels to optimize efficiencies and deliver customer service through effective hiring, training, and coaching of staff.
  • Foster a fun work environment that achieves results in a safe, professional and ethical environment.
  • Assist the District Manager in leading sales team to identify opportunities, establish goals and objectives and deliver business plan goals.
  • Work with District Managers and distribution to develop various schedules that utilize resources to optimize customer service and efficiencies with ability to adjust as necessary.
  • Establish trade routines to lead, teach and coach merchandisers and influence performance.
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget
