About The Position

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of Drivers and ensuring efficient delivery of Coca-Cola products to our customer.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience required.
  • Prior experience in consumer products, distribution, retail, or warehouse required.
  • Intermediate computer application and technology skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical thought process and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years supervision or leadership experience preferred.
  • CDL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to employees through coaching and providing on-going performance feedback.
  • Staffing responsibilities include interviewing, selection, and productive on-boarding and training experience.
  • Responsible for documentation and discussions.
  • May have supervisor responsibilities in a dry warehouse facility including the oversight of limited warehouse operations such as handling inbound freight, daily inventory, and supervising warehouse employees.
  • Oversee the check-out process of fleet, product, and drivers.
  • Conduct daily driver meetings and hold the team accountable to delivery standards including DOT compliance, uniforms and equipment needs.
  • May include Full Service Driver issuing of keys, money bags, change funds, and route reviews.
  • Ensure drivers are accurately logged in to ELD (Electronic Logging Device).
  • Communicate with internal and external customers and with the Drivers throughout the workday to manage opportunities that may impact the successful delivery of our products.
  • Effectively troubleshoot and implement solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Manage and take appropriate action on customer support tickets and follow-up with the customer or internal personnel.
  • Close tickets timely.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse departments to ensure routes are planned and loaded correctly on the proper equipment.
  • Manages and reviews weekly performance results, operating expenses and labor budgets while meeting service needs.
  • Reviews timekeeping records to ensure accurate payroll.
  • Complies to all audit and safety requirements.
  • Ensures accurate DOT compliance reporting to include hours of service, violations, and driver certifications.
  • Complete driver observations to recommend improvements in performance and safety.
  • Ensure vehicles are well maintained and that related repairs and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner.
