Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 4-6 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 0-2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the department distribution functions, which may include reviewing orders and/or schedules to ensure that activities within the department are completed according to established schedules.
• Determine work priorities and work assignments required to meet the established schedule.
• Coordinate proper staffing and equipment needs to accomplish daily operational objectives cost-effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a sufficient inventory of materials and supplies in the work area to meet daily operational demands.
• Supervise the movement of finished goods through the warehouse from receiving through shipping and returns.
• Select, hire, train, and appraise Distribution Team Members to attain the highest quality standards of service and achieve optimal productivity levels.
• Complete performance evaluations and perform continuous performance feedback.
• Provide a safe work environment that meets the guidelines of the Company safety program while achieving the departmental safety goals.
• Continuously measure/monitor performance according to established standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.
