Position Summary: The Demand Planning Supervisor is responsible for supporting all functions of the demand planning processes and tools (Oracle Cloud DM, Bitam, & BLU Margin Minder). Responsible for the effective forecast analysis, reporting and tracking of all brands under the Barcel USA organization. Responsible for providing a proactive approach to regularly monitoring and analyzing metrics to allow for better decision making. Ensures data accuracy and consistency across all sources and implements best practices in the day-to-day activities to ensure the effectiveness of demand planning. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and effectively collaborates with cross-functional teams ensuring the success of the tactical and strategic planning processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Marketing.
2 or more years of experience in Supply Chain.
Highly developed skills in data analysis, reporting and data visualization.
Superior and effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong internal/external customer centric focus.
Expert in customer forecasting tools.
Expert/advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

Develop thorough understanding of the organization’s overall business processes to support the alignment of demand planning processes with the business goals.
Manage and document the statistical forecast process in Oracle Cloud DM to ensure data flows into the different platforms and tools in a consistent, error-free manner.
Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and optimize the utilization of demand planning tools.
Maintains data integrity through data cleansing, validation processes, and ad-hoc checks.
Support the monthly collaboration planning process that determines the tactical demand plan by customer, item, and month and ensure alignment with the commercial budget, production capacity allocation and commercial plans.
Responsible for tracking actuals against forecast and reviewing forecast accuracy to support cross functional teams in adjusting and validating the forecast as needed by customer, item, and month during each collaboration period.
Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting as needed for all demand related activities as required by management.
Monitor inventory levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to take corrective actions by analyzing forecast errors and adjusting in future planning sessions.
Ensure internal customer and item catalog is consistently updated and validated as needed to ensure data accuracy across all sources of data.
Utilize demand planning and supply chain tools to enhance forecasting and analysis capabilities and commit to the continuous improvement of the department.
Effectively supports Demand Planning Manager in any project as required through the effective use of reporting, presentations, and communication across the organization.
