About The Position

The Supervisor of CT provides oversight and coordination of all CT procedures and activities of assigned staff. The position requires the technologist to work with the Radiologists and department management to carry out department and hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The Supervisor must possess strong interpersonal and technical skills, proven leadership skills, ability to use sound judgment as situations dictate and effective problem solving skills. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours emergency coverage. All employees of North Florida Regional Medical Center will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • State of Florida HRS Licensure as a "General Radiographer"
  • ARRT with advanced level certification in CT or MRI
  • BLS Certification
  • 3-5 years experience as a registered CT technologist in a hospital setting

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
