About The Position
Provides day-to-day supervision, guidance and direction to the credentialing processing team. Oversees processing, monitoring/managing the inquiry queue and updating database with expirable documents and web crawler responses. Facilitates and oversees all committees.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
- Knowledge of credentialing principals, particularly those associated with hospitals, foundations and insurance organizations.
- Knowledge and deep understanding of compliance within the scope of credentialing & enrollment
- Familiarity with credentialing committees/ regulations relating to acute and non-acute facilities.
- Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to influence others to move in a desired common direction.
- Listening skills and ability to coach employees to achieve positive behavioral changes.
- Proficient in Smartsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint and credentialing verification systems and applications.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and working with multiple customers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience running credentialing committees preferred
