About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and safety-driven Corrosion Supervisor to lead and support our team in the construction, maintenance, and operation of natural gas distribution and transmission systems. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our pipeline infrastructure through effective corrosion control, leakage surveys, and oversight of pipeline equipment and facilities. This position requires a proactive leader who can coordinate complex projects, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure adherence to both company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees in construction, maintenance, and operation of distribution and systems for a geographic area or metro service facility.
• Supervise employees in construction, maintenance, and operation of distribution and systems and appurtenances including: Line extensions Distribution lines Purchasing tools and materials Corrosion control Leakage survey
• Oversee and inspect installation and operation of pipeline equipment and facilities including: Meter/regulator settings Tapping/pressure control equipment Pressure tests (air, gas, water)
• Inspect, evaluate, and recommend whether to repair or replace pipe and appurtenances.
• Schedule and conduct safety and training sessions for employees.
• Provide information, consultation, and assistance to customers, contractors, inspectors, city/county/state officials, employees, and others relative to company activities, policies, and procedures.
• Compile, prepare, and verify information including: Operating activities Completion reports Accident reports DriveCam reports Employee documentation Service cards/leak reports MAXIMO Department metrics reports Various budget recommendations Customer correspondence O&M and capital budgets
• Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
• Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
